JSI has implemented projects in 104 countries, and currently operates from eight U.S. and 81 international offices for the past 30 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>JSI has received funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to implement the Strengthening Partnerships, Results and Innovations in Nutrition Globally (SPRING) Project in northern Ghana to strengthen the treatment and preventive nutrition services in health facilities, and to oversee the implementation of specific tasks that strengthen community based nutrition improvements.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Job Title: Cost Share Accountant (Temporary)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Supervisor: Finance Manager<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Project: Strengthening Partnerships, Results and Innovations Globally (SPRING)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Job Location: Tamale<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Closing Date: June<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Overall Scope<\/strong><br \/>\nSPRING Ghana\u2019s cooperative agreement requires it to find and document cost share that contributes to the project\u2019s objectives. \u00a0The employee will research, retrieve, copy and submit complete cost share documentation based on documentation found in SPRING\u2019s QuickBooks (QB) archives.<\/p>\n<p>This is a temporary position anticipated to take 6-8 weeks full time work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In general, the employee will ensure that all cost share documentation is assembled and packaged according to JSI cost share policies for submission to Home Office and Accounts. \u00a0This means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working with the Finance Manager to identify all QuickBooks vouchers that can potentially contribute to cost share. \u00a0Most of the documentation will be in relation to government and other relevant personnel attending training and non-training workshops, meetings, venue space and district office space. \u00a0Other types of cost share might be identified as well;<\/li>\n<li>Copying all the relevant cost share documentation from the QB archives;<\/li>\n<li>Assembling the documentation, writing appropriate cover memos and other additional documentation following JSI templates and requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&gt;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of USAID financial and management systems, regulations and reporting requirements; specific knowledge of cost share requirements would be a plus;<\/li>\n<li>Degree in business administration, economics, public administration, finance, accounting or other relevant field;<\/li>\n<li>Superior writing skills in English;<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested applicants with the requisite qualification(s) and related work experience should submit<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Application Letter addressed to the HR Manager as below:<\/li>\n<li>Detailed Curriculum Vitae including Names, Title, Organization, Phone number, Email and Addresses of Three (3) Referees to ghanahr@spring-nutrition.org.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, USAID\/JSI RESEARCH &amp; TRAINING INSTITUTE, INC., SPRING PROJECT\/GHANA, HOUSE # NK BLK \u201cB\u201d 118 NORTH KANVILLI, TAMALE.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications should be submitted to the HR Manager through ghanahr@spring-nutrition.org<\/li>\n<li>Deadline &#8211; June 14, 2016<\/li>\n<li>JSI will only contact short-listed applicants.
