{"id":13882,"date":"2016-06-07T09:56:17","date_gmt":"2016-06-07T09:56:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=13882"},"modified":"2016-11-17T11:26:24","modified_gmt":"2016-11-17T11:26:24","slug":"world-vision-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/world-vision-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"World Vision Ghana Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>World Vision International is a Christian Relief, Development and Advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>World Vision Ghana (WVG) is looking for highly qualified, proactive, motivated and resourceful persons to fill the following position:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Travel Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Job Profile<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\nTo facilitate hotel accommodation and international travel for internal and external staff as well as Partners to and from Ghana offices to conduct business.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>The Package<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The position is based in Accra with some level of domestic travel.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He reports to the Administrative Coordinator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuously source strategic partnerships to ensure cost efficiency in accommodation and travel operations of the Ghana office;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and disseminate guidelines for travel and hotel accommodation;<\/li>\n<li>Submit monthly reports on all functions and expenditure trends;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a tracking of all travels with timelines;<\/li>\n<li>Develop standards to ensure continuous and accurate communication flow with travelers and service providers;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out security briefing for visiting guests and staff;<\/li>\n<li>Represent the organization in dealing with related service providers;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain communication flow within departments and visiting guests;<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating annual frame work agreements with service providers;<\/li>\n<li>Sourcing for quotations and processing requisitions;<\/li>\n<li>Order placement in line with approved rates;<\/li>\n<li>Managing and co-coordinating service delivery between guests and the hotel;<\/li>\n<li>Organizing local and international workshops;<\/li>\n<li>Visa and travel documents processing for World Vision staff\/Guests\/Support offices;<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating special rates with air lines;<\/li>\n<li>Ticket processing and confirmation;<\/li>\n<li>Immigration document processing of special passes, work permits and dependents passes.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with World Vision staff and guests to provide trip itineraries to travelers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration\/ or its equivalent from a recognized university;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in implementing logistics and supplies-related activities of not less than two years, preferably within an NGO;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle Protocol duties including the administration of expatriate work\/residence permits and entry visa applications is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent planning &amp;
