Inclusion Ghana Recruits <strong>Parents Mobilizer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking to recruit someone special to manage the parents&#8217; self-help groups&#8217; component of this ground breaking project<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to: Project Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Are you innovative, results oriented, and able to develop effective, collaborative working relationships with the resilience to succeed in a challenging role, then Inclusion Ghana is offering you an exciting opportunity to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of persons with intellectural disabilities and their families<br \/>\nAs Parents Mobiliser, you will support member organisations in the identification of parents or caretakers of persons with intellectual disabilities and help in the setting up of parents&#8217; self-help groups<br \/>\nThe Contract is for three years with the possibility of an extension based on performance and approval of a new project phase<\/p>\n<p>Duty Station: Accra with upcountry travels<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To succeed you should be educated to degree level in the humanities or a related field, have profound knowledge of persons with intellectual disabilities, experience in working with parents or caretakers, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as well as 3-4 local languages, and have experience in working with local or international NGOs in the disability sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A full job description and person specification are available from: inclusionghana.com Or call: 020-9707971<\/p>\n<p>Or write to: P.
