POSITION NO:<\/strong> A54322<\/p>\n

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 This position performs a variety of Human Resources and Administrative duties in a manner that will ensure the smooth flow of paperwork in the Human Resources Office. Provides effective and efficient service, meeting ICASS standards.<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 EDUCATION:<\/strong> Two years of college with a concentration on studies in business administration, public administration or Human Resources is required.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 EXPERIENCE:<\/strong> Three years of administrative experience including one year of Human Resources experience is required.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 LANGUAGE:<\/strong> Level III (Good working knowledge) in English and one of the local languages. Good working knowledge of the written and spoken language. Job Holder will be able to read and understand, for example, regulations, instructions and related material concerning the field of work, and to prepare correspondence and standardized reports. Job Holder will be able to communicate effectively with staff and members of the public in the language. (Language proficiency will be tested).
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 JOB KNOWLEDGE:<\/strong> Must be proficient in typing (40 WPM) and must be proficient in the following computer programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Internet (Computer Skills tested).<\/p>\n

SELECTION PROCESS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

When qualified, applicants who are U.S. Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs) and\/or preference-eligible U.S. Veterans are given a preference in hiring. Therefore, it is essential that these applicants make themselves known as having a hiring preference and specifically address the required qualifications above in their application.<\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Management may consider the following when determining successful candidacy: nepotism, conflicts of interest, budget, and residency status.
\n2.<\/strong> Current OR employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply. Current OR employees with an Overall Summary Rating of Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory on their most recent Employee Performance Report (EPR) are not eligible to apply.
\n3.<\/strong> Current NOR employees hired on a Family Member Appointment (FMA) or a Personal Service Agreement (PSA) are not eligible to apply within the first 90 calendar days of their employment, unless they have a When Actually Employed (WAE) work schedule.
\n4.<\/strong> The candidate must be able to obtain and hold a security clearance.
\n5.<\/strong> Candidates who are EFMs, USEFMs, AEFMs, or MOHs must have at least one year remaining on their sponsor\u2019s tour of duty to be considered eligible to apply for this position.<\/p>\n
