The company\u2019s major markets are forest products (fiber-based products such as paper, board and tissue) \u00a0as well as life sciences (food, feed, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, environmental products and agriculture).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Agronomist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technical promotion of calcium carbonate and trading products such as basic soil conditioners, Calcium fertilizers, seed coatings, mineral additives and technical service in the agricultural industry.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiate and monitor crop trials at predefined customers (e.g. farmers, cooperatives, government research institutes, NGOs)<\/li>\n<li>Identify and propose customers for crop trails<\/li>\n<li>Subject expert on\u00a0company\u2019s agricultural product range<\/li>\n<li>Regular customer visits to discuss technical performance and opportunities for further use of products<\/li>\n<li>Calculate technical and financial benefit of company\u2019s products vs. traditional farming methods and competitors\u2019 products<\/li>\n<li>Trusted technical promotor of company\u2019s products<\/li>\n<li>Identify current and future agricultural trends in the agriculture business<\/li>\n<li>A good understanding of the agricultural legislation and impact<\/li>\n<li>Monthly reporting to Business Development and region<\/li>\n<li>Customer visit reporting (commerce-technical information, customer satisfaction) to Business Development and region<\/li>\n<li>Monthly review meetings with distributors on trials and product performance<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain country market studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KEY REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education level: BSC in Agronomy (MSC a plus)<\/li>\n<li>Very good communication skills in English and French: verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>Excellent customer relationship skills and Very disciplined<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter \u2013 able to work independently, as well as in team<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving and Flexible<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic personality, extrovert and Culturally flexible<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills: good knowledge of MS office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel approximately 60%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Number of trails initiated per crop<\/li>\n<li>Completed trails in compliance with protocol and scientific standards<\/li>\n<li>Customers converted to\u00a0company\u2019s products<\/li>\n<li>Technical knowledge of distributors\u2019 staff on company\u2019s products<\/li>\n<li>Sales volumes and values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A leading global producer of industrial minerals \u2013 mainly fillers and pigments derived from calcium carbonate and dolomite \u2013 and a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals.
