\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on trip sheets, customer transportation forms, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports as per ACDI\/VOCA policies and procedures.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinates the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 As required, carry out general backstopping including answering phones<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Certificate in defensive driving and knowledge of first aid are an added advantage
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum of 5 years of experience as a driver, preferably for an international organization
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repair
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Good oral and written communication skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Conversant with the road network and traffic regulations of Ghana
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Willingness to travel on a regular basis within project target areas and on short notice.<\/p>\n
