\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 General operational administration and set up and positioning of artwork
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain ongoing promotion and advertising campaigns of the gallery
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assessment and selection of artwork
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assessing market demands and overseeing the type of artwork sold
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Planning, organizing, presenting and marketing exhibitions and shows, including responsibility for public relations
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Building relationships with stakeholders, including artists and regulators
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Curating shows in cooperation with artists and technicians
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Arranging transportation of work to and from gallery, both nationally and internationally
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Negotiation with gallery managers and curators from other galleries for financing
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Information dissemination on technical and artistic matters relating to programming, exhibitions, artists
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Developing client database
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Liaising with visiting artists and negotiating sales
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Cataloguing acquisitions, keeping records and archives
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Developing and updating the gallery website
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Keeping up to date with industry developments and market trends
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 General administration, budgeting, finance and accounts<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Passion for creativity and a keen eye for detail is a requirement to be successful in this role
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Candidates with a good network and association with local artists will have an added advantage<\/p>\n
