SI\u2019s mission is to improve the effectiveness of international development programs. \u00a0We provide a full range of management consulting, technical assistance, and training services to strengthen international development programs, organizations, and policies. We provide services globally in the areas of monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, project and program design, organizational capacity building, and gender and social analysis. Feed the Future (FTF), the U.S. government\u2019s global hunger and food security initiative, focuses on sustainably reducing hunger and poverty worldwide. USAID\u2019s Bureau for Food Security (BFS) leads the FTF initiative for the U.S. Government. Through the provision of world-class technical experts The Bureau for Food Security Service Center (FSSC) helps BFS move the President\u2019s agenda forward by providing needed technical assistance to USAID Missions, USAID\/Washington, USG operating units, and host country counterparts. FSSC provides short- and medium-term expertise for state-of-the-art food security support services and analyses; capacity building; and integration of cross-cutting issues that are critical to the success of FTF, and also provides a mechanism for bridge programming and pilot innovations.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Position Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As prime contractor for the FSSC, SI seeks a senior-level specialists to provide support to USAID\/West Africa Regional Mission in managing agriculture programs, providing technical advice and developing strategies. The assignment is approximately 9 months based in Ghana. The ideal candidate would be available to start in July or early August at the latest.
