The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) was established under the National Health Insurance Act 2003, Act 650, as a body corporate, with perpetual succession, an Official Seal, that may sue and be sued in its own name. As a body corporate, the Authority in the performance of its functions may acquire and hold movable and immovable property and may enter into a contract or any other transaction.<\/p>\n
A new law, Act 852 has replaced ACT 650 in october 2012 to consolidate the NHIS, remove administrative bottlenecks,introduce transparency, reduce opportunities for corruption and gaming of the system, and make for more effective governance of the schemes<\/p>\n

\nJob Purpose: To provide support for the maintenance and repair of ICT hardware and software related issues<\/strong>
\nJob Location: All Regional offices (10) & Head Office (1)<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain formal schedules and procedures for maintenance of ICT equipment
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Liaise with the Helpdesk, District Offices,Healthcare Providers and external repair services for the purpose of conveying and\/or receiving ICT equipment.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure timely transportation of ICT items (PC’s, printers, tablets, consumables,etc.) for the purpose of providing materials at job site or to bring equipment in for repairs.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinate timely repair and return-to-service of ICT equipment covered by\u00a0 third-party vendor maintenance agreements
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assist in the issuance of ICT Consumables to user District Offices while keeping accurate logs of same
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work with the MIS Directorate to communicate to users any update on the ICT platform that has an impact on the use of hardware and software applications
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assist users on effective use of all hardware Provide help-desk and on-site technical support of hardware and related
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide help-desk and on-site technical support of hardware and related software
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure the anti-virus software is always up to date and share necessary information with users regarding potential risks
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Any other duty that would be assigned<\/p>\n
