It is one of the component institutions over which the Ministry for Justice has oversight responsibility and is governed by a twelve (12) member Board of Directors, The Scheme operates countrywide from ten (10) offices in all the Regional capitals. Ghana Legal Aid recruits <strong>Legal Aid Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Scheme is tasked under the Legal Aid Scheme Act 1997 (Act 542) to provide legal assistance to the poor and indigent, as well as other persons in the prosecution and defence of their rights under the Constitution of Ghana<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assists in the efficient management of the Region\/Division<br \/>\nAssists in the supervision of the work of others staff in the Region\/Division<br \/>\nAssist in collaboration of data for the preparation of half year, annual and other reports<br \/>\nAssists in the review of cases for appropriate action<br \/>\nSupervises the organisation of regular review meetings<br \/>\nRepresents clients in court, when necessary<br \/>\nPerforms any other duties assigned<br \/>\nSALARY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:<br \/>\nRemuneration is attractive with fringe benefits.
