related business areas.<\/li>\n<li>PMP\u00ae certification required<\/li>\n<li>Prince2\u00ae Foundation required; Prince2\u00ae Practitioner considered a plus<\/li>\n<li>Agile certification (Scrum, PMI-ACP) considered a plus<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the Banking industry and the Ghanaian Banking landscape<\/li>\n<li>Basic accounting knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of PMBOK\u00ae framework<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of the BABOK Business Analysis framework or the PMI-PBA Business analysis framework required.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle Requirements Gathering and Business Analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute the project planning process according to the stipulated process and policies.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the project officer\u2019s work comprising follow ups with vendors, internal project customers and other relevant parties to projects<\/li>\n<li>Execute and provide oversight on project planning activities covering but not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>Scope definition<\/li>\n<li>Project schedule analysis and schedule creation<\/li>\n<li>Quality metrics definition and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Risk analysis and ongoing maintenance of a risk register<\/li>\n<li>Project resourcing decisions and follow up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on project planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the execution of planned project covering these activities:\n<ul>\n<li>Proactive risk monitoring utilizing the risk register<\/li>\n<li>Proactive issues tracking utilizing issues log<\/li>\n<li>Proactive tracking of scheduling using the project schedule<\/li>\n<li>Proactive tracking of resources utilizing the resource calendar and scheduled work.<\/li>\n<li>Documentation updates (plans, registers, trackers, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Daily project work tracking utilizing project schedule<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the processing and follow up of vendor payments, per diems, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on project delivery approaches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Process Analysis and optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review Business Processes and business policies in relation to projects to assess support for project delivery<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations, where appropriate, for improvements to facilitate excellent project delivery and increased business value<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on business process analysis and optimization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Program Management and Portfolio Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply, where applicable, the principles of Program and Portfolio Management to bring consistency to the process of managing projects.<\/li>\n<li>Manage, the entire repertoire of projects using the principles of program and portfolio management to increase business value, strategy-project alignment and resource utilization.<\/li>\n<li>Be a custodian of the IT Projects Manual and SOP, providing yearly reviews of processes to keep in line with modern project, program and portfolio management best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance of all projects to the SOP.<\/li>\n<li>Apply, where applicable and useful to delivery, the principles and practices of Agile Project Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Enterprise Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work in tandem with the Head, IT Strategy and Architecture to arrive at scalable architecture for projects.<\/li>\n<li>Provide architecture recommendations, where applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and submit weekly reports for each project in the combined portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit weekly summary reports as per the distribution in the Projects SOP<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit monthly reports to the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Technology Manager\u2019s meeting \u2013 Third Wednesday of the month<\/li>\n<li>Technology Steering committee \u2013 Monthly by 23rd of each month<\/li>\n<li>Board Technology sub-committee \u2013 Quarterly or on request<\/li>\n<li>Board sub-committee on project prioritization \u2013 Quarterly or on request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit ad hoc reports on project status as per request from sponsor, Head, IT Business, CIO or Executives<\/li>\n<li>The custodian and monitor of the PMIS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and maintain project management artifacts as stipulated by the Projects SOP, including but not limited to: project schedule, project plan, risk register, issues log, payments tracker, project dashboards, communications plan, stakeholder register, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit a project closure report detailing follow-on actions at the close of each project<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and circulate lessons learned for each completed or terminated project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>User Acceptance Testing and System Integration Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide oversight and guidance to Business Units in the preparation of user acceptance test scripts<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the User Acceptance Testing process, where necessary and applicable<\/li>\n<li>Collate and provide a comprehensive User Acceptance Testing report<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Notifications\/Alerts<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Notification of projects slipping by pre-determined allowed slippages per project.<\/li>\n<li>Immediate notification of projects for which critical path activities have slippage<\/li>\n<li>Escalation of non-compliant vendors or project team members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report all suspicious or fraudulent activities to Compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Report project governance non-compliance to Head, IT
