If so, this role is for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Title:\u00a0C++ Software Engineer with SQL\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Devfactory you will play a dynamic leadership role in our fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for developing solutions to complex problems, designing and delivering real enterprise-class software products to customers and being a hands-on peer leader of top development resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Writing and debugging both unit and integration tests for enterprise applications<\/li>\n<li>You will be expected to effectively execute the transition of current code to new technologies and update third party components<\/li>\n<li>Proactively plan, implement, and maintain DB operational services, backup and recovery.<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of the process of identifying dependencies and performing code reviews, helping us to maintain our standard of excellence throughout the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Experience<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>A ruthless commitment to testing the code you\u2019ve written<\/li>\n<li>Extensive problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>An ability to communicate clearly regarding complex issues (in English)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the following skills and technologies is mandatory:\n<ul>\n<li>C++, REST<\/li>\n<li>SQL scripting with high performance tuning and effecient queries<\/li>\n<li>Source control using SVN , GIT<\/li>\n<li>Visual Studio Professional<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the following technologies is desired but not mandatory:\n<ul>\n<li>Akamai, PostgreSQL, noSQL, .NET<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of current enterprise software technologies and development practices\/tools, including virtual environments, source control, remote development, issue tracking, build and test automation, and networking management<\/li>\n<li>A true \u201croll up the sleeves and get it done\u201d working approach; demonstrated success as a problem solver, operating as a result-oriented, self-starter<\/li>\n<li>Comfort \u201cworking virtually\u201d with teammates and customers around the world<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong> is $20\/hr or $40k\/year for a 40 hour productive week<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Global (remote)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timezone<\/strong> : Atleast 3-4 hours daily in conjuction with the other team members<\/p>\n<p>Time Constraint: Even though we allow to work any time of the day and any day of the week, it is advised to work during weekdays to deliver the business needs within weekdays and adhere to customer commitments. Also , if possible you should be ready to join us full time after stipulated time because we have a product with a strong roadmap and long term vision.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re one of the few legitimate companies offering high-paying jobs that are 100% remote, work from home.
