JTI training programmes are developed and administered with the objective of achieving and supporting a high standard of judicial performance. Judicial Training Institute recruits <strong>Deputy Director<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Director will report to the JTI Board. His duties and responsibilities shall include the following:<\/p>\n<p>Conduct education and training needs assessments<br \/>\nInteract with Judges officers and Court Staff to identify, assess, develop, and plan education and training programmes<br \/>\nDesign and develop multiple and varied education and training programmes for court staff<br \/>\nIdentify, recommend, and implement selected educational and training methods<br \/>\nDesign and develop curriculum, course materials and education\/training methods<br \/>\nAnalyze education and training goals and objectives and prepare measurement tools for accomplishing the strategic, operational and workforce development plans for the court<br \/>\nEvaluate training programmes and recommend improvements to the Director of JTI, and Human Resources Director<br \/>\nSupervise cost estimates and cost\/benefit analyses for projects and programmes<br \/>\nPrepare and submit for inclusion in the Director&#8217;s quarterly report, a report on all training programmes held within each quarterly of the year<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A minimum of an Advanced Degree in Law, Business or Educational Administration<br \/>\nAt least 5 years post qualification experience, 3 of which should be in judicial capacity-building or a managerial position in a recognized tertiary institution<br \/>\nExperience in donor-funded programmes and working experience with international bodies would be an added advantage<br \/>\nAbility to effectively and tactfully interact with judges, judicial officers, and other staff<br \/>\nMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants are to submit the following in addition to an application letter:<\/p>\n<p>Detailed Curriculum Vitae with contact telephone numbers, E-mail address and three (3) references<br \/>\nFor the position of the Director, a two-page vision statements for the Judicial Training Institute (JTI)<br \/>\nBrief statement on job responsibilities in current\/latest post<br \/>\nOther relevant information should be addressed to:<\/p>\n<p>THE JUDICIAL SECRETARY<br \/>\nJUDICIAL SERVICE OF GHANA<br \/>\nP.
