Advans Ghana stands apart from other micro-lenders in the stability of its financial support thanks to their shareholders. These include Advans SA and \u00a0leading non-government organizations such as the International Finance Corporation and KfW, and major banks such as the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Advans Ghana is a member of the Advans group. The Advans group is a network of microfinance institutions (MFIs) and microbanks which provide adapted financial services to Micro, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and low-income populations in developing, emerging and frontier countries.\u00a0Advans aims to transfer best practices in corporate governance and operations management to its affiliates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Field Teller<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Field Teller is responsible for managing transactions for clients outside of the branch such as client creation, new account opening, loan repayment, savings collection and withdrawal at clients\u2019 business places<br \/>\n<strong>1. Commercial activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build a portfolio of E-cash clients by<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 proposing the E-cash service to existing Advans clients<br \/>\n\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 prospecting potential clients at their business places and \u00a0open their accounts<br \/>\n\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Open accounts on the field for potential borrowers (in relation with CRO\u2019s)<br \/>\n\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cross-selling Advans Ghana service and products: a particular attention should be paid to collect savings (stable deposits) ; open new accounts for existing clients<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in the promotion of Advans Ghana products and services by informing prospective clients as well as his\/her E-cash clients about them<\/li>\n<li>Provide information to prospective E-cash clients at the branch<\/li>\n<li>Identify clients\u2019 needs and report it to BSS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. E-cash Transactional activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a portfolio of E-cash clients, organizing a daily collection schedule with clients assigned to him\/her<\/li>\n<li>Collect E-cash clients\u2019 deposits, and \u00a0helps to perform withdrawals<\/li>\n<li>Encourage E-cash clients to make regular deposits and transfers to their Advans account<\/li>\n<li>Remind clients of upcoming loan installments and propose a transfer to their Advans account at the appropriate time<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Client Officers on managing loan repayment for E-cash clients<\/li>\n<li>Monitor clients\u2019 deposits in order to provide appropriate advice and to ensure they comply with minimum deposit requirements and meet their target of stable deposit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0 Organization and control<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cash counts and controls: to ensure and control the conformity of E-cash transactions with collected cash and monitoring tools<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance of all operations performed with Advans policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Analyse his\/her client portfolio with operational reports<\/li>\n<li>Share information and best practices with other Field Tellers<\/li>\n<li>Report all the issues related to the job to the BOS\/ BSS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> <strong>Administrative tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update client data in the MIS and in client files<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0PERFORMANCE CRITERIA<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Field Teller shall demonstrate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to manage cash with rigorous counting, recording of transactions and checks<\/li>\n<li>Ability to organize an efficient daily collection schedule<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet objectives (quantitative and qualitative) determined by managers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to represent Advans Ghana by demonstrating professionalism and dynamism<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills ; ability to establish friendly and professional ties with clients<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide clear, sufficient and accurate information to clients on Advans, its products and services, and its processes<\/li>\n<li>Ability to promote e-cash and other Advans products and services to clients and prospective clients<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage and analyze information on clients by using and updating the MIS and other tools and documents<\/li>\n<li>Ability for team work with fellow Field Tellers and Client Officer working in the same zone<\/li>\n<li>Respect of Advans policies and procedures, confidentiality and security rules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION\/EDUCATION:<\/strong> At least High School \/Senior Secondary School.<br \/>\n<strong>WORK EXPERIENCE: <\/strong>A minimum of one (1) year working experience National Service inclusive.
