{"id":14817,"date":"2016-07-11T14:21:23","date_gmt":"2016-07-11T14:21:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=14817"},"modified":"2016-07-11T14:21:23","modified_gmt":"2016-07-11T14:21:23","slug":"global-communities-recruitment-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/global-communities-recruitment-on.html","title":{"rendered":"Global Communities Recruitment On"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Global Communities, formerly CHF International, is an international non-profit organization that works closely with communities worldwide to bring about sustainable changes that improve the lives and livelihoods of the vulnerable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0 Security Guard (Office\/Residential)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Resiliency in Northern Ghana (RING) project is a 5-year integrated project funded by the USAID Feed the Future (FtF) Initiative and is designed to contribute to Government of Ghana (GoG) efforts to sustainably improve livelihoods and nutritional status of households in Ghana.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Job Location:Tamale, Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Reporting Relationship:Logistics Officer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\nMaintains safe and secure environment for visitors, employees, and expatriate staff by patrolling and monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Major Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patrol office\/residential premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.<\/li>\n<li>Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.<\/li>\n<li>Call police or Ghana National Fire Service in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.<\/li>\n<li>Answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when office\/residency is closed.<\/li>\n<li>Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protection.<\/li>\n<li>Making sure that all doors and windows are locked;
