DevFactory&#8217;s patented solutions decrease IT expenditures by reducing hardware and associated maintenance, leveraging open source technology, and accelerating value delivery to business customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Java Architect (with NoSql and SOLR) &#8211; $80k<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position will be a member of our fast paced, highly motivated, and diverse team. The position will be software design and development in the area of large scale distributed systems and search capabilities on top of large data sets that will utilize expert knowledge of NoSql, especially SOLR.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Experience<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BA\/BS in Computer Science or related field. Masters preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Programming\/Scripting Languages: C, C++, Java, and various scripting languages like sh\/perl\/python\/jython<\/li>\n<li>Database skills: SQL and NoSQL<\/li>\n<li>Open Source SME: SOLR (required); RabbitMQ, SSO\/SAML, Mail Routing, ActiveMQ, and Cassandra (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Platform Experience: Windows, Linux (CentOS, RHEL)<\/li>\n<li>Cloud Architecture: AWS<\/li>\n<li>Specialties: Software design and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Quick learner that is able to quickly gain deep product knowledge and actively contribution to production issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This role may be a great fit if:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You want to work with the most skilled professionals in your field<\/li>\n<li>You have a passion for coding and solving problems<\/li>\n<li>You embrace the concept of iterative development as the means for building excellent products<\/li>\n<li>You know how it should be done and not stop until it\u2019s done right<\/li>\n<li>You have excellent English communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong>: $40\/hr for 40 hours\/week<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Global (remote) and able to work U.S. business hours<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re one of the few legitimate companies offering high-paying jobs that are 100% remote, work from home.
