{"id":15284,"date":"2016-07-28T16:00:25","date_gmt":"2016-07-28T16:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=15284"},"modified":"2016-11-17T11:26:23","modified_gmt":"2016-11-17T11:26:23","slug":"world-vision-recruitment-3-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/world-vision-recruitment-3-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"World Vision Recruitment (3 Positions)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>World Vision International is a Christian Relief, Development and Advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Maintenance Supervisor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\nTo ensure that World Vision\u2019s GI-WASH and Northern Operations fleet of vehicles are road worthy at all times and that all legal requirements with regards to registration, license and insurance are adhered to; and maintain an up to date data on all vehicles and also to ensure that all drilling equipment are in good working condition at all times for operations.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>The Package\u00a0<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The position is based Savelugu<\/li>\n<li>S\/He reports to the GI WASH Program Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Key Responsibilities\u00a0<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that new vehicles are processed at the DVLA to ensure they are fully registered and insured in compliance with the legal requirements of Ghana;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all required documentations on vehicles are current and up to date (renewals on road worthiness, insurance etc);<\/li>\n<li>Provide supervision to the team of field mechanics and driver mechanics in the areas of work scheduling and performance appraisals;<\/li>\n<li>Plan all vehicle movements and allocations for project visitors and staff and follow up on vehicle tracking incidences that are identified;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate stock levels for consumable spares and lubricants for both drilling equipment and project vehicles;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure maintenance schedules for all project vehicles and drilling rig equipment are adhered to;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update maintenance files for the vehicle fleet.
