The Company is developing the Central Ashanti Gold Project near Ayanfuri in the Central Region of Ghana. The project has an expected mine life of 10 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Emergency Response Co-ordinator, reporting to the Occupational Health and Safety Manager, will be based at the Central Ashanti Gold Project site, located near Ayanjuri in the Central Region of Ghana.<br \/>\nThe responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to the development of the mine site OHS training plan as well as facilitating emergency preparedness and response training programmes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The      successful candidate will give a high level of technical and professional      support to the OHS Manager in responding to emergency incidents as per      CAGL requirements.<\/li>\n<li>The      position calls for knowledge in fire risk analysis and emergency Risk      Management Control, fire detection and alarm systems, health and safety      law with emphasis on fire statutes and guidance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is site based and the Company offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the candidates&#8217; qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Job skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The      successful applicant will have a tertiary education in a related field      with Fire Safety professional qualification and at least 5 years      professional work experience in similar position with responsibility for      fire systems, equipment and design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How o Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested qualified applicants should submit one MSWord document only which includes a cover letter, detailed CV of his\/her qualifications and work history and the names of at least 3 referees.
