The Company is developing the Central Ashanti Gold Project near Ayanfuri in the Central Region of Ghana. The project has an expected mine life of 10 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Chief Metallurgist, reporting to the Processing Manager, will be the head of the Metallurgical Section of the Processing Department at the Central Ashanti Gold Project, located near Ayanfuri.<br \/>\nThe responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitoring      processing performance<\/li>\n<li>The      provision of high level technical and professional support to the      processing team,<\/li>\n<li>Metallurgical      accounting,<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking      project work to improve upon metallurgical performance,<\/li>\n<li>Analytical      laboratory services,<\/li>\n<li>Developing      budget plans consistent with operational goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is site based and the Company offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with.the candidates&#8217; qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Job skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The      successful applicant will have 10 years professional work experience in      large-scale processing operations with at least 5 years recent experience      in a similar role, strong interpersonal skills, experience in SAG milling      \/gravity \/ flotation (preferred) \/ CIL \/ elution circuits, and degree in Metallurgy      from an accredited university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How o Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested qualified applicants should submit one MSWord document only which includes a cover letter, detailed C.V of his\/her qualifications and work history and the names of at least 3 referees.
