The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer\u2019s networks and in house servers<\/li>\n<li>Install and integrate new server hardware and applications<\/li>\n<li>Keep an eye out for needed updates<\/li>\n<li>Support and administer third-party applications<\/li>\n<li>Ensure network security and connectivity<\/li>\n<li>Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses<\/li>\n<li>Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords<\/li>\n<li>Resolve problems reported by end user<\/li>\n<li>Define network policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Specify system requirements and design solutions<\/li>\n<li>Research and make recommendations on server system administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in a network administrator role<\/li>\n<li>Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN\u2019s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired<\/li>\n<li>Ability to set up and configure server hardware<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Great at organising, prioritising and multitasking<\/li>\n<li>Juniper, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE training<\/li>\n<li>BSc degree in Computer Science or related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Founded in 1993, Antal International is a management and professional recruitment specialist.
