The firm has recently established a business unit specializing in devel opment advisory work, the West Africa hub of which is based in Accra. We are looking for a Manager\/Senior Manager who would be largely responsible for business development in Ghana and selected countries in West Africa.<br \/>\n<strong>Main tasks\/responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Generate      business in Ghana and      elsewhere in West Africa<\/li>\n<li>Proposal      writing and preparing bids<\/li>\n<li>Undertake      fee-based work<\/li>\n<li>Backstopping,      monitoring and evaluation of activities<\/li>\n<li>Build      and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Manage      delivery of work in compliance with risk management and quality standards<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Job Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated      ability to write excellent proposals and win bids<\/li>\n<li>Good      communication, analytical and problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong      influencing and networking abilities<\/li>\n<li>Fluent      English plus preferably a working knowledge of French<\/li>\n<li>Good      first degree and preferably a Masters degree in Economies or related      discipline from a top tier university<\/li>\n<li>No      less than 7 years relevant postgraduate work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How to apply:<\/p>\n<p>Applications in writing including a CV and cover letter must be sent to:<br \/>\n<strong>The Retained Consultants<br \/>\nP.O Box LG 347<br \/>\nLegon, Accra<\/strong><br \/>\nOr email:\u00a0<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">mangweh@gmail.com <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>International Development Consultancy Business Development Role.\u00a0Our client is part of a large professional services firm with offices in over 150 countries.
