Since its founding in 1977, Creative has earned a solid reputation among its clients and is well-regarded by competitors and partners alike.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Grants Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Position Summary<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Grants Manager will provide administrative and technical guidance and support to the Chief of Party and staff on the management of the project\u2019s small grants, and USAID\u2019s guidelines, and regulations for the small grants mechanism.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Reporting &amp; Supervision<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Grants Manager will report to the Chief of Party.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The Grants Manager Will Have Principal Responsibility For<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall management of small grants programming in strict compliance with USAID rules and regulations and Creative\u2019s policies;<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing grantee solicitation processes that are compliant with USAID rules and regulations, from development of Requests for Applications (RFAs) through issuance of reward letters;<\/li>\n<li>Development and management of all sub-grant relationships from drafting of agreements through grant closeout;<\/li>\n<li>Providing advisory assistance to NGO grantees on grant management, including development of workplans, budgets, monitoring and evaluation, deliverables, and reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing and evaluating grant submissions for technical and budget soundness and compliance with USAID regulations, recommending award actions to the contract team;<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining contract documentation through the upkeep of a small grants database;<\/li>\n<li>Tracking milestone deliverables and due dates, and processing grant payment requests; and,<\/li>\n<li>Preparing scheduled and special reports, studies and analyses regarding the small grants program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in management, financial analysis or accounting desirable; Master\u2019s degree preferred;<\/li>\n<li>At least seven years\u2019 experience with USAID subgrants management, preferably in West Africa; minimum of five years working in international development;<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of USAID regulations and procedures pertaining to grants management;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze technical and cost proposals and prepare reports and recommendations on whether or not applicants should be funded;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze budget line items for compliance with budget guidelines;<\/li>\n<li>Proven records maintenance and database management skills; and<\/li>\n<li>Speaking, writing and reading fluency in English and French.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Local and regional candidates strongly encouraged to apply.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creative Associates International is a dynamic, fast-growing global development firm that specializes in education, economic growth, democratic institutions and stabilization.
