\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage the Bank\u2019s operational risk exposure by supporting the
\nBusiness to identify areas of operational risk exposure and by
\ndeveloping and implementing corrective action.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Design, develop and keep updated the Banks\u2019 Operations Manual and ensure compliance to all operational guidelines, processes and procedures.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible for re-engineering business processes to improve customer service, cost effectiveness and controls.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements relating to Banking Operations.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure that effective documentation is in place, in the form of user guides and implement operational improvements to reduce operational costs, tighten controls, improve service quality and customer service.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage the Banking Operations Department (staff and budget).<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Post graduate degree (MBA desirable)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Project Management Certification
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum of eight (8) years experience in Banking Operations with at least 5 years in a senior role in operations management within a universal Bank.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrable experience delivering major business process reengineering projects
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of banking procedures and policies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational plans and actions.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Detailed understanding of operational risk analysis.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of treasury operations and trade finance.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools.<\/p>\n
