Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Head, Human Resources<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Purpose <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 To lead the HR transformation program and direct the implementation of the bank\u2019s people strategy relating to resourcing, learning & development, talent management, rewards management and employee relations.<\/p>\n

Key Job Responsibilities\/Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Align all HR systems and strategies to the overall business objectives.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitate and manage all organizational change\/development programs and processes.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develop and maintain the company\u2019s talent program and strategy to attract and retain talent as well as succession planning for all key roles in the bank.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead the manpower planning process, aligning resourcing activities with business needs and ensuring that the recruitment and on boarding processes are consistent with the company\u2019s policy.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead the implementation of the Performance Management System.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Plan, develop and maintain a competitive and attractive compensation & benefits plan for the company.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Design and maintain an equitable rewards system in support of the company\u2019s performance management program.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead the provision of efficient and reliable operational HR services.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Implement initiatives to promote high employee engagement.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure the company\u2019s HR Policies, Procedures and Systems are aligned to best practice and are compliant with the Laws of Ghana.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Support the implementation of all change programs.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develop and implement initiatives that promote good employee relations.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develop, implement and ensure adherence to appropriate administrative policies and procedures;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead a team of HR staff.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage the HR budget<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum of a First Degree
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Postgraduate qualification in HR.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Professional practice certification (in HR) will be an advantage.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Eight (8) years of experience in HR practice, 4 years of which
\nshould be in senior management position managing and executing HR programs preferably in a service \/commercial environment.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Extensive knowledge of all HR disciplines and experience in the implementation of HR strategies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to manage large strategic change programs.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in staffing start-up companies would be an advantage.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proficient in the use of HRIS to enhance service delivery.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrable experience in delivering major HR process reengineering projects.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of modern trends and developments in HR practice.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Working knowledge of the Labour Laws of Ghana, local labour practices, and other employee related regulations.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite programs.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to give guidance on all HR matters.<\/p>\n
