\nPerson Specification: Eligible to work in Ghana<\/p>\n
\nMonitor field projects, produce project reports and generate policy briefs based on field experiences for publication
\nSupport the Policy and Partnership Department’s policy activities and execute programmes at all levels to achieve WAG’s policy influencing objectives
\nContribute to WAG’s management of innovative stakeholder relationships at all levels to enhance the achievement of organisational goals
\nEffectively contribute to the development and implementation of WAG’s Rights Based Approach, Equity and Inclusion, among others in the delivery of water and sanitation in Ghana
\nSupport the implementation of the local millennium development goal initiative (LMDGI) ongoing in 13Districts in Ghana
\nCompetitive NGO salary depending on skills and experience<\/p>\n
\nWorking knowledge and experience in policy analysis and development, research, advocacy and partnerships
\nExperience in Health, Water and sanitation sectors is desirable
\nAt least 3-5 years minimum relevant experience in policy, research and partnerships issues
\nExperiences of working partners and building community based organisations will be required
\nDemonstrable capacity for identifying how programme and policy integration can bring about effective and sustainable development
\nExperience in climate change and its effects of WASH will be an Advantage
\nExperience working with INGOs, Government Official and other high level policy makers
\nSelf starter, ability to work in a team and willingness to learn from others and to take on new responsibilities and challenges
\nAnalytical reasoning skills, critical thinking and ability to interpret complex numerical information
\nStrong networking skills in people management and development
\nCulturally sensitive – is aware of and sensitive to different cultural values
\nGood writing, verbal, communication and editing skills
\nFair knowledge in WASH and ability to learn quickly and adapt new knowledge
\nDemonstrable ability to meet strict deadlines
\nAbility to work in a team and willingness to learn from others
\nGood IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet communications
