We are located at two campuses in East Legon i.e. Jungle Avenue and the A&amp;C Square.<\/p>\n<p>Lancaster University Ghana is dynamic, ambitious and growing.\u00a0 It offers a friendly working environment and is committed to developing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent student academic and social experience<\/li>\n<li>Students\u2019 employability and enterprise skills<\/li>\n<li>Staff to become world-class academics, with strong links with industry<\/li>\n<li>Research activities in collaboration with other higher education institutions in Ghana and elsewhere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0English Academic Programme (EAP) Tutor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lancaster University Ghana<\/strong>\u00a0is looking for a dynamic, hardworking individual to fill the position of\u00a0<strong>English Academic Programme (EAP) Tutor\u00a0<\/strong>on a\u00a0<strong>part time<\/strong>\u00a0basis.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation and teaching of EAP sessions<\/li>\n<li>Assessment, feedback and counselling, report-writing and record-keeping; and<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of individual tutorial support to international students as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Essential Competencies<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>An English teaching qualification (adults): CELTA\/DELTA TESOL, TEFL or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience in teaching English as a foreign\/second language<\/li>\n<li>Experience in developing EAP\/GE syllabi<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (oral and written) skills, presentation and training skills<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills; and<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Desirable Competencies<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in teaching EAP courses in a university setting<\/li>\n<li>A Masters\u2019 degree in Applied Linguistics would be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualified persons should please send their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and cover letter to\u00a0hr@lancaster.edu.gh\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>P.
