DynCorp receives more than 96% of its more than $3 billion in annual revenues from the U.S. federal government<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Site Lead Mechanic (C-12)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Aircraft Maintenance Lead<\/strong> is responsible for the day-to-day aircraft maintenance operation and for reporting any and all issues\/concerns in regards to maintenance, maintenance production, personnel, and facilities to the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor Senior.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead daily workload for respective area of responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Interact with government officials and Sr. Maintenance Supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Brief production status at production meetings and to Sr. Maintenance Supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Conduct periodic site safety evaluations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct floor check audits of timesheets and ensures all timesheets are accurate and accounted for<\/li>\n<li>Conducts roll call and distribute information pertinent to job completion to all employees<\/li>\n<li>Prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines, procedures, and priorities<\/li>\n<li>First line approval for time off of employees assigned<\/li>\n<li>Required to participate in exercises in support of deployment scenarios<\/li>\n<li>Ensure employee participation of good housekeeping, site FOD walks, and work area clean-up<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate all PPE requirements to ensure assigned area stock levels are sufficient<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for tool program of assigned workers<\/li>\n<li>Direct skilled technicians in daily performance of their duties<\/li>\n<li>Ensure employee training is current and accurately scheduled<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working knowledge of fire protection codes and system, building and electrical codes, and OSHA and company requirements<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan and schedule work requirements<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in use of computers<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of aircraft forms and logbook annotation<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of aircraft Aviation Maintenance Manuals, Technical Orders, and Job Guides<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Education<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school education or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Five (5) years\u2019 experience in an aviation maintenance environment with at least three (3) years maintaining King Air series aircraft.<\/li>\n<li>At least one (1) year of Site Lead experience is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&amp;P) License.<\/li>\n<li>A current FAA Inspector Authorization (IA) License is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements\/Working Environment<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lift 50 lbs<\/li>\n<li>Ability to walk long distances<\/li>\n<li>Ability to stand for several hours<\/li>\n<li>Ability to climb ladders and stairs<\/li>\n<li>May be required to travel and work off station in support of maintenance recovery or deployed operations as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Travel<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel as required by the contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Location<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GHANA-OCONUS-ACCRA<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Security Clearance<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Secret<\/p>\n<p>Aviation \/ Support<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DynCorp International is an American private military contractor.
