Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Quantity Surveyor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise the contractor on all contract management related issues on the project<\/li>\n<li>Will undertake field measurement of all executed works and prepare IPC\u2019s on behalf of the contractor<\/li>\n<li>Will monitor the project and advise the contractor on all claims on the projects<\/li>\n<li>Preparing an accurate schedule of materials relevant to the execution of scope of works<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of schedule of works\/program of works relevant to each project\u2019s scope of works<\/li>\n<li>Assisting by providing strategic advice in developing and implementing overall portfolio programmes, plans and schedules<\/li>\n<li>Working with and being conversant with different standards of measurements (cost and pricing models) and or new rules of measurements for all types of building works<\/li>\n<li>Lead contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors by being abreast with industrial standards and best practices<\/li>\n<li>He\/she shall maintain a register of unit rates of materials and labour for preparation of cost estimates<\/li>\n<li>Actively engage in knowledge sharing and also improve one\u2019s professional and as well as other colleague\u2019s skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND or B.Sc in Building Technology or in relevant field. A professional qualification from or from Ghana would be of great advantage<\/li>\n<li>At least 4 years work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Civil Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To supervise the construction of a road project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The prime responsibilities will be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team leader for the contractors technical team on site<\/li>\n<li>Will attend site meetings on behalf of the contractor where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Schedule the appropriate equipment for the appropriate site works<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that materials used for the works are per the specifications<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the works are constructed to meet specifications and as required<\/li>\n<li>Train and evaluate the effectiveness of works foremen on site<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating and certifying accurately, subcontractors submitted interim payment certificates of works executed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of an HND or Degree in Civil Engineering<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years working experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3.
