\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure the adequacy of the design and sound implementation of internal control systems that are in compliance with relevant laws, policies, regulations, plans and procedures
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Review all financial and operating systems to ensure reliability and integrity
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure strict compliance with all policies, laws and regulatory requirements
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Pre-auditing of all major and sensitive transactions of the company
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Follow up on all major audit recommendations and board decision to ensure compliance or implementation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Effectively collaborate with the external auditors and Bank of Ghana
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct special investigations assigned by management and the board
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Perform any other duties assigned by management or the board<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Membership of 5 years of post-certification audit experience
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of risk-based audit will be an advantage
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Sound knowledge of financial management policies and practices in non-bank financial institutions
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Sound experience in audit and banking operating software
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 In-depth competence and expertise in banking operations
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Sound numeracy, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, sound business acumen
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Competency in T24 banking software is required
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Independence, confidentiality, ethical behaviour and ability to work under extreme pressure and within guidelines or plans to meet strict deadlines
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Required travel
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent communicator with sound listening and inter-personal skills<\/p>\n
