Ecom\u2019s goal is for farmers to better coffee, cocoa, and cotton farming and to provide opportunities for dignified and profitable livelihoods for generations to come.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant Controller<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Country: Ghana (Kumasi)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting to: Head of Finance WAF<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a\u00a0 comprehensive\u00a0 set\u00a0 of\u00a0 controls\u00a0 and\u00a0 budgets\u00a0 designed\u00a0 to\u00a0 mitigate\u00a0 risk,\u00a0 enhance\u00a0 the accuracy\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 company&#8217;s\u00a0 reported\u00a0 financial\u00a0 results,\u00a0 and\u00a0 ensure\u00a0 that\u00a0 reported\u00a0 results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.<\/li>\n<li>Lead\u00a0 activities\u00a0 associated\u00a0 with\u00a0 process\u00a0 improvements,\u00a0 timely\u00a0 reporting\u00a0 and\u00a0 the development\u00a0 of\u00a0 appropriate\u00a0 systems\u00a0 to\u00a0 ensure\u00a0 that\u00a0 financial\u00a0 transactions,\u00a0 policies\u00a0 and procedures meet the company\u2019s long and short-term objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Prior Work Experience, Specialized Skills \/Knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting\/Finance degree Qualified Chartered Accountant\/Chartered Financial Analyst\/ MBA in Finance\/ Member of ICWA\/CFA\/CIMA.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of at least 10 years in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in leading a team of 30 people.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and people skills.<\/li>\n<li>IT savvy (Oracle, SAP, SAGE)<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and written skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ecom Agroindustrial Corp.
