Its practice areas are catalyzing investment, climate smart agriculture, empowerment &amp; resilience, institutional strengthening, and market systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Strategic Business Planning Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ACDI\/VOCA is currently seeking a Strategic Business Planning Specialist for an upcoming volunteer assignment in Ghana. The Rural Organization of Women Farmers and Agro-Processing Development is requesting volunteer assistance to develop a new five year strategic business plan for the organization. The volunteer will also provide training on proposal development and marketing. The assignment will last for approximately three weeks in country, in addition to preparation and research previous to departure. Travel and living are covered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteer Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Business, Marketing or another relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>At least 5-10 years\u2019 experience in facilitating strategic planning and proposal writing.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>The volunteer should be prepared to live in a rural and hot setting with limited or no access to amenities such as air conditioning or internet.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in rural African settings an advantage, although not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As part of the Farmer-to-Farmer Consortium, this assignment is made possible through USAID funding.
