Winrock is currently recruiting for the position of full-time Director of Operations in its Tamale project office to support the five-year, USAID-funded Feed the Future Ghana Agriculture and Natural Resources Management Project (USAID AgNRM). The USAID AgNRM project seeks to provide a scalable, integrated landscape approach that will support sustainable economic development and rural livelihoods, increase nutrition and climate change adaptation, and strengthen Northern Ghana\u2019s natural resources.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Monitoring & Evaluation Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n POSITION SUMMARY:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will assist the Monitoring and Evaluation Director with data verification, analysis, and management and manage M&E data collection from one of the project\u2019s three field offices. This position will also have an office management role of the satellite office, which includes ensuring the office is functional and fully supports field staff, activities and overall work flows. This position will report directly to the Monitoring and Evaluation Director.<\/p>\n ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Collect, analyse and verify M&E data, which require frequent travel; Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum of Msc. in any relevant field (or equivalent with additional professional experience).<\/p>\n Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum five years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation. \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Contribute to baseline assessments;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor data for results, impact and learning opportunities, and evaluates the results and impact of the program;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure productive, positive office operations and smooth reporting from the field office;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Trouble shoot any internet connectivity and equipment issues;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage use of vehicles, vehicle logs and gas procurement;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Communicate office needs to the project\u2019s Senior Operations and Human Resources Manager;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officers of additional project satellite offices;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare periodic reports;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrated success managing and entering data into complex databases.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience working with communities, government entities, and NGOs.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 USAID experience highly desired.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in the NRM sector and NGOs in Northern Ghana is a plus.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Fluency in English is required.<\/p>\n
