\nMany of the world\u2019s 500 million smallholder families face two interrelated challenges: they hold little, if any, rights to their land and being restricted to the informal sector, they often cannot access technical and financial services to improve their livelihoods.
\nLandmapp is a mobile platform that provides smallholder farmer families with documentation of their land. We also provide them a profile with which they can access services that are precisely tailored to their circumstances.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title<\/strong>:\u00a0Backend Developer (Python)<\/strong><\/p>\n Many of the world\u2019s 500 million smallholder families face two interrelated challenges: they hold little, if any, rights to their land and being restricted to the informal sector, they often cannot access technical and financial services to improve their livelihoods.<\/p>\n Landmapp provides affordable land rights documentation for smallholder farmers around the world, currently operating in Ghana and starting up in Indonesia. We do this through a custom built hardware and software package, from field\/mobile for data collection to backend systems for verification and GIS software for document creation.<\/p>\n We\u2019re now looking for a full-time developer to join our team in Accra, well versed in Python, who can support our lead developer in developing our platform back-end.<\/p>\n We\u2019re looking for someone who is passionate about working to empower farmers and their families across the world.
