{"id":16549,"date":"2016-09-06T08:31:16","date_gmt":"2016-09-06T08:31:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=16549"},"modified":"2016-09-06T14:18:12","modified_gmt":"2016-09-06T14:18:12","slug":"gifec-ghana-recruits-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/gifec-ghana-recruits-workers.html","title":{"rendered":"GIFEC Ghana Recruits Workers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), a government agency under the Ministry of Communications charge with the responsibility to bridge the digital divide between the served<br \/>\nand unserved\/underserved communities in Ghana, is looking for a highly qualified and motivated person for the position of :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Corporate Affairs Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this role is to provide technical and operational support in the management of the corporate image and information of the Fund.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Accountabilities:<\/strong>The Ideal Candidate Will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide input in the development of communication policies and strategies of the Fund.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the planning of public education initiatives in line with the Fund\u2019s communication strategy<\/li>\n<li>liaise with relevant Institutions\/partners to implement specific components of the Fund\u2019s communication strategy<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the issuance of press releases on major activities, nurture relations with the media and organise periodic media briefings<\/li>\n<li>Provide input and recommend appropriate action on media coverage of the Fund\u2019s activities.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the preparation of draft quarterly, annual and other periodic reports of the unit.<\/li>\n<li>Provide input for the preparation of annual budget of the Fund.<\/li>\n<li>Set targets, supervise and appraise the performance of the work of subordinate staff.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Supervise the management of protocol activities of the Fund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a Masters\u2019 Degree from a recognised Institution in Communication Studies, Development Studies, Public Relations or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>A member of the Institute of Public Relations<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of four (4) years post qualification relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Competencies\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of Media Laws and Ethics<\/li>\n<li>Computer proficiency skills<\/li>\n<li>Strategic planning, research and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent team player<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Leadership, human relations and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and eligible persons who meet the above criteria are to forward their applications with detailed Curriculum Vitae to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Principal <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Human Resource Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>P.
