Thai Union Europe focuses on tuna and added value tuna, but also sells a comprehensive range of salmon, mackerel, sardines, seafood spreads and other seafood products.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Assistant Manager, DBA &amp; Business Analyst<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The role is to ensure that Marel implementation at PFC is robust and has maximum up-time and stability <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY OUTPUTS\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Implement &amp; Stabilize Marel system at PFC<\/strong> \u00a0\u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Become fully conversant with all Marel Innova end-to-end barcoding processes and build a thorough understanding of Innova configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce strict change control process from initial analysis with business through to successful sign-off after user acceptance testing<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with business to implement and improve good practices \u2013 role based access control, downtime procedures etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with building end user \/ IT training materials and delivering training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Support the Marel implementation at PFC<\/strong> \u00a0\u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Second line support for the Marel Application\/Systems\/Network related issues (On-call for urgent out of hours support)<\/li>\n<li>To be able to check that transactions are clean and assist business in analyzing and fixing anomalies \/ errors<\/li>\n<li>A good understanding of database architecture and hands-on experience of software and database management systems<\/li>\n<li>Perform any \/ all Shift Support requirements if required<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up outstanding software\/systems\/network issues and re-prioritize if necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Have the right Technical Skills to be able to see the job through<\/strong> \u00a0\u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intermediate to expert SQL skills for Data Extractions, Transformations, and Loading (ETL).<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Database Management skills: Installation, Configuration, Upgrade\/Migration, Security, Performance Monitoring and Tuning.<\/li>\n<li>Development of Business Intelligence Reports<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Test changes made by supplier and provide full details of any issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The ability to communicate well and run project administration<\/strong> \u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend stakeholder meetings and provide updates regarding outstanding issues<\/li>\n<li>Twice weekly process by process walkthrough<\/li>\n<li>Good team-working skills<\/li>\n<li>Follow up orders with suppliers and provide clearing documentation to logistics team.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all Environmental, Health and Safety issues in your area of responsibility in line with Company policy. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all Quality issues in your area of responsibility in line with Company policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver any adhoc projects\/duties requested by Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PROFILE :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business or IT Graduate with experience as Database Administrator \/ Business Analyst<\/li>\n<li>MSDBA\/MCSE\/ CCNA<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role, ideally in an industrial environment<\/li>\n<li>A self-starter able to work independently with minimum supervision and deliver quick results \/ solutions<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills at all levels and the ability to deliver trainings<\/li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to work with stakeholders and customers at all levels from shop-floor to leadership team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in SQL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tha\u00ef Union Frozen (TUF) acquired MW Brands on October 29th 2010, thereby strengthening its position in the global seafood business arena.
