Connect to us and expand your payout network in an instant.<br \/>\nOur mission at MFS Africa is to develop and distribute tailored yet scalable mobile financial solutions to underserved markets across Africa.<\/p>\n<p>We provide accessible, affordable, inclusive alternatives for remittance\/money transfers, micro-lending, micro-insurance, micro-savings, and payments.<br \/>\nMFS Africa connects mobile money systems to each other and to money transfer organizations, banks and other financial institutions, enabling money remittances TO and FROM mobile money accounts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Onboarding Project Lead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Onboarding Project Lead will play a critical project management and liaison role between MFS Africa\u2019s technical and operations teams on the one hand, and those of our partners \u2013 principally mobile network operators, money transfer companies, and banks. The Onboarding Project Lead will be responsible for ensuring that services launch according to agreed timelines, and therefore must make sure that all parties are aware of the requirements of all other parties and are equipped to meet them. This requires constant communication and very strong \u201cpeople skills\u201d. It is critical that the Onboarding Project Lead be capable of holding business and semi-technical discussions in both English and French.<\/p>\n<p>This position is based in <strong>Accra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as primary point of contact for MFS Africa partners regarding service launch plans<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with MFS Africa\u2019s technical team to create and provide timelines to partners; ensure that partners understand actions required to meet timelines<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with MFS Africa\u2019s compliance and finance team for pending items from partners and follow up for quick resolution<\/li>\n<li>Assist MFS Africa\u2019s support team with escalations regarding partners<\/li>\n<li>Organize and lead UATs (user acceptance tests), coordinating teams from both MFS Africa and the partner company to test each service thoroughly before it is launched<\/li>\n<li>Continuously follow up with partners regarding outstanding actions on active projects<\/li>\n<li>Report regularly to MFS Africa management and partner leadership teams on progress, highlighting any bottlenecks, constraints, or issues to escalate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a tertiary degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Have 4+ years in an operational role, experience in project management strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Have demonstrated organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with limited supervision<\/li>\n<li>Have strong analytical and problems solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Are achievement-orientated and results-driven<\/li>\n<li>Wield razor-sharp focus and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Are extremely patient, determined, and diplomatic<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English<\/li>\n<li>Get bored with the corporate environment and crave new challenges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply for this position, please email (1) your CV, (2) a cover letter to <strong>jobs@mfsafrica.com<\/strong> with the subject line<strong> \u201cOnboarding Project Lead\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MFS Africa is the best gateway to send money to mobile wallets Africa.
