Truly international, Booking.com is available in more than 40 languages, and offers 1,033,312 active properties in 225 countries and territories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Account Manager Ghana<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As an Account Manager you are responsible for hotel account management initially. You support Booking.com BV\u2019s acquisition of new hotels in a specific area in Ghana. You create quantity and quality reports on results and performance for information support to Booking.com. You inform hotels about Booking.com. You provide hotels the (initial) training on how to use Booking.com\u2019s system. You will assist the Supply Manager Ghana on the improvement of hotel availability and supply in order to support Booking.com in meeting the demands of the visitors on the Booking.com website.<\/p>\n<p>This full-time position will be based at our Accra office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the important hotels in the assigned area;<\/li>\n<li>Support Booking.com BV\u2019s-strategy for hotel availability and supply within a country;<\/li>\n<li>Promote the Booking.com BV brand name and its online reservation services to hotels;<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for area coverage;<\/li>\n<li>Inform hotels and advise on allotment, availability and supply;<\/li>\n<li>Rate checks and competitor checks;<\/li>\n<li>Liaison person for hotels to contact when they have questions;<\/li>\n<li>Providing hotels with information and advice by mail and email, including follow-ups;<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on cancellations and evaluations;<\/li>\n<li>Accompany and train hotels on how to use Booking.com\u2019s extranet and rates &amp; availability system;<\/li>\n<li>Support hotels with regards to Booking.com\u2019s system;<\/li>\n<li>Organize and coordinate Tourist Trade Fair visits to liaise with hotels;<\/li>\n<li>Check statistics in the control room and follow up.<\/li>\n<li>You will also need to be versatile and adapt quickly to the latest guidelines from Booking.com BV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 years of experience in a relevant account management function;<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English both written and spoken;<\/li>\n<li>Nigerian Pidgin speaking<\/li>\n<li>Affinity\/experience within e-travel and\/or hotel\/travel industry;<\/li>\n<li>Pro-active, sense of responsibility, friendly and can work independently;<\/li>\n<li>Quick and resourceful, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail;<\/li>\n<li>Great face-to-face and telephone communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Team player, motivated and enjoys to work in e-travel and hospitality;<\/li>\n<li>Business focused;<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude;<\/li>\n<li>Hotel School or University background preferred;<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license;<\/li>\n<li>Availability to travel 50% of the time;<\/li>\n<li>You already have a work permit to work in Ghana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are a performance-based company that offers career advancement and lucrative compensation including bonus.
