{"id":170,"date":"2010-06-22T02:28:18","date_gmt":"2010-06-22T02:28:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=170"},"modified":"2010-10-21T17:42:23","modified_gmt":"2010-10-21T17:42:23","slug":"african-security-sector-network-donor-liaison-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/african-security-sector-network-donor-liaison-officer.html","title":{"rendered":"African Security Sector Network Jobs: Donor Liaison officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>African Security Sector Network (ASSN)<\/strong> was created at Elmina, Ghana in November 2003, out of a recognition of the need to harmonise the activities of the various African organisations working in the area of security sector reform (or transformation) and governance.<\/p>\n<p>Under direct supervision of the Executive Secretary (and working closely with the Programme Manager), this position involves:<\/p>\n<p>Liaising with donors and keeping abreast of new funding opportunities<br \/>\nPreparing work plans, budgets, donor reports<br \/>\nEnsuring familiarity and compliance with donor financial and other guidelines; and<br \/>\nKeeping track of reporting deadlines<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Minimum of a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Security Studies, International Relations or similar field (Master&#8217;s preferred)<br \/>\nStrong writing skills and experience in report-writing; and familiarity with funding agencies and reporting requirements (actual experience with fundraising desirable)<br \/>\nFull competency in English and working knowledge of French is required<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AFRICAN SECURITY SECTOR NETWORK (ASSN)<br \/>\n27 KOFI ANNAN AVENUE<br \/>\nNORTH LEGON (HAATSO)<br \/>\nP.
