{"id":1706,"date":"2010-12-16T01:48:10","date_gmt":"2010-12-16T01:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=1706"},"modified":"2010-12-16T01:48:10","modified_gmt":"2010-12-16T01:48:10","slug":"ministry-of-energy-ghana-project-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/ministry-of-energy-ghana-project-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of Energy Ghana: Project Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Ministry of Energy<\/strong> has secured funding from the World Bank for the oil and Gas Capacity Building Project.\u00a0To assist the Project Co-ordinator to achieve project activities:<\/p>\n<p>Assist the Project coordinator in the efficient operation of the PCU<br \/>\nEnsure that project funds are correctly administered monitor timelines, budgets and cost and ensure timely and accurate reporting of project expenditures<br \/>\nSalary &amp; Allowances: Negotiable<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience:<\/p>\n<p>At least a Master&#8217;s Degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Management or any other relevant discipline<br \/>\nAt least eight (8) years experience in administration or project management<br \/>\nKnowledge of World Bank&#8217;s guidelines and procedures in procurement and financial management<br \/>\nEnergy sector, preferably petroleum industry work experience<br \/>\nGood leadership skills<br \/>\nExcellent, communication skills, including report writing and meeting presentations; and<br \/>\nGood networking and negotiating skills<br \/>\nAbility to provide Leadership for staff<br \/>\nSelf motivated; ability to work extra hours and also with little supervision<br \/>\nMust be able to implement decisions and achieve result on time<br \/>\nAbility to write good reports, review and analyze reports<br \/>\nAbility to use computers and Office software package (MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc) knowledge of the e-use of web based systems<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications with detailed bio-data and three referees as well as photocopies of certificates should be sent to the:<\/p>\n<p>Chief Director<br \/>\nMinistry of Energy<br \/>\nP.
