On 14th May, 2004 the University of Education Act, Act 672 was enacted to upgrade the status of the University College of Education of Winneba to the status of a full University.<\/p>\n<p>The University College of Education of Winneba brought together seven diploma awarding colleges located in different towns under one umbrella institution. These Colleges were the Advanced Teacher Training College, the Specialist Training College and the National Academy of Music, all at Winneba; the School of Ghana Languages, Ajumako; the College of Special Education, Akwapim-Mampong; the Advanced Technical Training College, Kumasi; and the St. Andrews Agricultural Training College, Mampong-Ashanti.<\/p>\n<p>The Council of the University of Education, Winneba, announces for the information of the Academic Community and the General Public vacancy for PRINCIPAL, COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE EDUCATION, MAMPONG-ASHANTI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Principal College Of Agriculture Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Principal is the administrative and academic head of the College. The Principal shall be responsible for providing leadership to the College and for maintaining and providing efficiency and good governance of the College in accordance with policies and procedures prescribed by the Act and Statutes of the University of Education, Winneba.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE PERSON\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate seeking appointment as Principal must:<\/li>\n<li>be of Professorial Status or equivalent Grade in an analogous institution.<\/li>\n<li>must possess a Ph.D. in Science Education\/Agriculture Science or Applied Sciences.
