Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Project Metallurgist<\/strong><\/p>\n Purpose :This position will focus on development and maintenance of\u00a0metallurgical systems. The candidate will have a strong primary background in information technology with a passion for metallurgy.<\/p>\n Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n Accept personal responsibility for health and safety of every mine worker under or assigned to his\/her supervision<\/p>\n Assures compliance with established procedures and quality assurance methods<\/p>\n Coach and train others in metallurgical systems.<\/p>\n Prepare detail reports as necessary.<\/p>\n Apply initiative and problem solving abilities. Apply knowledge to improve on current practices.<\/p>\n Maintain, develop and implement metallurgical systems<\/p>\n PI historian \u2013 Process Administrator.<\/p>\n OCS Mill Expert System \u2013 Maintain and implement new control strategies as required.
