\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure\u00a0 geological model is continuously updated, through the integration of all mine and exploration\u00a0 geological data;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Oversee and sign off the geological and grade control models that are supplied to Mine Planning;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Administer, train and ensures that all corporate governance in regard to budgeting, administration, human resources, standards, SHE within the discipline\u00a0 are in place and maintained at all levels;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure\u00a0 internal\u00a0 and\u00a0 external\u00a0 audits\u00a0 are\u00a0 carried\u00a0 out\u00a0 on\u00a0 all\u00a0 geological\u00a0 activities\u00a0 and\u00a0 that\u00a0 the\u00a0 recommendations of the audit are acted upon;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Reconcile the Mine Geology unit\u2019s budgets and prepare monthly and quarterly reports including the\u00a0 unit\u2019s SHE reports\u00a0 as per company\u2019s reporting standards;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Oversee the management of all mine related evaluation QAQC data and interpretation;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage annual independent audits of the Mineral Resource models and estimates;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage\u00a0 and\u00a0 undertake\u00a0 the\u00a0 annual\u00a0 Mineral\u00a0 Resource\u00a0 disclosure,\u00a0 including\u00a0 coordination\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 p reparation\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 competent\u00a0 persons\u00a0 report\u00a0 for\u00a0 the\u00a0 Business\u00a0 Unit\u00a0 and\u00a0 signs\u00a0 off\u00a0 the\u00a0 Mineral\u00a0 Resources portion of the report;

\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor technical and operational developments, including computing applications and standards in all geological activities, both locally, nationally and internationally, to ensure that Asanko Gold is at the forefront of knowledge and is able to take full advantage of appropriate improvements;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct performance evaluation and appraisal for staff in the discipline where appropriate;<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Member of Ghana Institute of Geo-scientist;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A minimum of 8 years experience in similar role in the mining industry preferably in large open pits operations;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must be conversant with the Mining Act and related regulations of the Republic of Ghana, and be
\nable to interpret and apply these laws and regulations;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Familiar with modern geological and mineral resource technologies and practices;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent computer skills in geological and mining software;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Leadership experience and a strong desire to coach and develop others;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Well-developed oral and written communication skills;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Leadership experience and a strong desire to coach and develop others;
