We have worked in partnership with local people in 130 countries \u2013 mainly with the generous support of USAID \u2013 designing, implementing, managing and evaluating a wide range of market driven solutions along the entire value chain of a company or agricultural sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Driver \u2013 Ghana<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job\u00a0Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IESC is seeking a Driver for a USAID Farmer-to-Farmer Program funded program in Ghana. The program will focus on improving sanitary\/phytosanitary systems and improving access to markets for Ghana\u2019s farmers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transports project personnel and visitors within the city of Accra and surrounding areas and on field trips as directed while following all IESC safety and security policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps project vehicle in clean and serviceable condition and performs basic maintenance on the vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains a daily log of all trips and stops.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains a good personal appearance (for example, changing uniforms daily and washing uniforms weekly).<\/li>\n<li>Immediately reports any vehicle accidents to the Project Country Director.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as a special messenger when required, to deliver cargo, documents\/letters or invitations to US Embassy, local government, and international organizations offices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completion of secondary school (certificate required with application.)<\/li>\n<li>Three to five years prior experience as a chauffeur for an NGO<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local driving laws and traffic patterns, principal locations around the city, and basic mechanical principles.<\/li>\n<li>Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>A valid Ghanaian driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to concentrate and drive safely in heavy and hazardous driving conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications Desired:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge of medical first aid<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of training in chauffer driving from a security company, the UN, an embassy, Ghanaian government, or similar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualified candidates should send their applications to <strong>recruitment201611@gmail.com<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IESC \u2013 the International Executive Service Corps \u2013 is a US based not-for-profit with a focus on supporting private enterprise in developing countries.
