In 2015, Millicom generated revenue of $6.7 billion and EBITDA of $2.27 billion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Revenue Assurance Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.fieldlabel.JPM_DESCRIPTION\" class=\"pc-rtg-h2\" title=\"\"><label id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_DESCRIPTION_label\" for=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_DESCRIPTION\">Role Purpose<\/label><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The core duty of the successful candidate for this role will be to monitor revenue, transactions and margins along the Revenue Life Cycle in order to minimize any intentional or unintentional leakages.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.fieldlabel.JPM_ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS\" class=\"pc-rtg-h2\" title=\"\"><label id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS_label\" for=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS\">Key Responsibilities<\/label><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set the revenue assurance operation\u2019s strategy in line with the overall Company\u2019s strategy and global revenue assurance strategy;<\/li>\n<li>Develop a road map to improve revenue assurance maturity across all business units and ensure all revenue streams are covered;<\/li>\n<li>Analyze risks on revenue, cash and margins across the revenue life cycle and develop measures to mitigate identified risks to ensure highest levels of leakage avoidance in line with industry best practices;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure End-to-End monitoring of revenue, transactions and margins along the revenue life cycle through the implementation of revenue assurance monitoring practices and tools, including but not limited to network, billing, product assurance, collection, sim box detection etc.<\/li>\n<li>Improve network and billing assurance across all revenue streams including the ongoing monitoring of usage generation, processing, rating and billing of rated and free\/packaged products for all revenue streams including but not limited to voice, data and Financial Services;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure management is made aware of risks associated with all revenue streams and follow-up on monitoring of risks and mitigating actions;<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with revenue recognition teams to ensure accurate information is provided for accounting purposes;<\/li>\n<li>Drive automation of reconciliations and monitor reconciliations on a monthly basis to ensure all differences are fully reviewed and explained;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all standard alarms defined by the group including but not limited to IRSF, MFS, data etc, are implemented and monitored.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.fieldlabel.JPM_WORKENVIRONMENT\" class=\"pc-rtg-h2\" title=\"\"><label id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_WORKENVIRONMENT_label\" for=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_WORKENVIRONMENT\">Position Requirements<\/label><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Computer Science or any technical discipline;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five (5) years\u2019 working experience out of which two (2) years must have been in the telecommunications industry. Must have three (3) years previous revenue assurance, audit or risk management experience;<\/li>\n<li>Good Knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Database and Query Tools;<\/li>\n<li>Must possess good numerical and Analytical Skills;<\/li>\n<li>Must have good Leadership Skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Millicom is a leading telecommunications and media company uniquely dedicated to emerging markets in Latin America and Africa.
