The logistics and Finance Assistant will liaise with the entire various departments to resolve their logistics needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Logistics and Finance Assistant will receive direction from senior managers on a wide range of complex problems and ad hoc duties. These may include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting in the coordinating project site tours for potential contractors and suppliers; visiting government officials; and global Corporate leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting in the coordinating large meetings involving the client\u2019s team and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the procurement and leasing of project equipment and office space.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting preparation of project reports for internal use.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the risk manager in documenting project risks.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the construction management team with ad hoc assignments.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the interface manager in applications for permits and clearances from local authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting in the coordinating of accommodation for employees.<\/li>\n<li>Providing support for office staff.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing expense claims for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Capturing invoices for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Providing support on petty cash procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Updating supplier payment schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping finance files up to date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 \u2013 5 years of experience in the employ of an engineering consulting firm or construction contractor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific skills required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Time Management; The ability to prioritize work and to work well under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Complex problem solving.<\/li>\n<li>Judgement and decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Active listening.<\/li>\n<li>Critical thinking.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial awareness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personality Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determination to see tasks through to completion in spite of obstacles.<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Active learning \u2013 ability to think quickly, logically and analytically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Comments<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eligibility to work in Ghana due to nationality is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications Bachelor\u2019s degree from four-year College or university in business, engineering or other applicable discipline.<\/p>\n<p>What We Offer AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people.
