{"id":1830,"date":"2011-01-07T00:49:21","date_gmt":"2011-01-07T00:49:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=1830"},"modified":"2011-01-06T15:59:22","modified_gmt":"2011-01-06T15:59:22","slug":"national-media-commission-ghana-managing-director","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/national-media-commission-ghana-managing-director.html","title":{"rendered":"National Media Commission Ghana: Managing Director"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide overall leadership, strategic direction and supervision of the operations of the Organisation<\/p>\n<p>Day-to-day administration and management of the Organisation<br \/>\nFormulate policies and strategic plans for the Organisation<br \/>\nAdvise the Board on issues and submit proposals for the management of the Organisation<br \/>\nEnsure the preparation and submission of relevant reports on the operations of the Organisation<br \/>\nEnsure the establishment and strategic management of financial, administrative, engineering, production, marketing, editorial and Internal Audit systems and procedures and other organisational structures to achieve corporate effectiveness and efficiency<br \/>\nDevelop and maintain a culture that will foster co-operation, commitment, efficiency, accountability and productivity within the organisation<br \/>\nDevelop and implement systems and methods of effective monitoring and control of activities of the organisation<br \/>\nPerform any other duties that may be assigned by the Board from time-to-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A minimum of a Master&#8217;s Degree in Social Sciences, preferably, Mass Communications or its equivalent professional qualification from a recognised Institution, with not less than twelve (12) years&#8217; post qualification relevant work experience, five (5) of which must be in a senior management postion<br \/>\nStrong managerial and organisational skills<br \/>\nDemonstration of creativity and good business acumen<br \/>\nExcellent leadership and decision making skills<br \/>\nExcellent administrative and supervisory skills<br \/>\nGood team player<br \/>\nExcellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills<br \/>\nProficiency in computer<br \/>\nConversant with the Financial Administration Act, the Public Procurement National Media Commission Act<br \/>\nExcellent of Media Networks, particularly the print media<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications should be forwarded together with supporting documents, a statement of applicants vision for the position, Curriculum Vitae, office and residential telephone numbers, e-mail and addresses of three (3) referees to:<\/p>\n<p>THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY<br \/>\nNATIONAL MEDIA COMMISSION<br \/>\nP.
