\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepares and submits accurate and timely financial reports for the project to the Finance Manager
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepares financial information for the quarterly and annual reports as required
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Monitors budget and tracks all expenses and disbursements against the budget
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provides analysis of spending as required
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensures the project meets its legally required reporting, tax, social security,and other financial obligations
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Oversees sub-recipient agreement financial compliance, budget tracking and financial projections
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Performs general banking duties including deposits, transfers, and cashing checks
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensures financial files are audit ready
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinates financial operations with accountants from other ACDI\/VOCA projects in country.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum five (5) years of experience in financial management. Experience in an international non-governmental organization is preferred.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience with donor project procedures, policies and compliance requirements<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, QuickBooks and other relevant computer applications
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to work with minimal guidance and manage priorities and work flow
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Versatility, flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Relationship-building skills. Demonstrable ability to work in a team. Excellent interpersonal skills as necessary to work effectively with persons on all levels both inside and outside the company
