Job Title:\u00a0Science Teacher, High School<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of this position is to fulfill a high school science teacher\u00a0opening.<\/p>\n

Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n

This role will report to the Principal of Academics, Assistant Principal or Lead\u00a0Teacher.<\/p>\n

Job\u00a0Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

The role of a high school science teacher entails daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. \u00a0A high school science teacher is responsible for observing and evaluating student performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. The daily tasks include but are not limited to grading papers, answering emails, taking student attendance, and preparing necessary materials for each class activity. The weekly tasks include but are not limited to communicating with parents, checking on students progress, updating curriculum and lesson plans, and completing Friday checklist provided by the principal. The monthly tasks include but are not limited to attending professional development trainings, reading professional development material and observing and evaluating student\u00a0progress.<\/p>\n
