The Company&#8217;s Bogoso\/Prestea operations, located 10km south of the town of Bogoso in the Western Region of Ghana, is in the process of expanding with the commissioning of a new BIOX Plant in 2007. To supplement its open pit production, the Company is evaluating the feasibility of resuming Underground operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assist in the development and update of learning and development policies and procedures to guide the effective implementation of employee development interventions<br \/>\nPromote the value of Human Resource Development (HRD) as a means of ensuring that employees have the competencies to meet current and future job requirements<br \/>\nResponsible for the Company&#8217;s succession planning, employee career development and talent management<br \/>\nAdvise heads of department on learning and development interventions to continuously improve individual and group performance<br \/>\nProvide professional support to heads of department to implement effective performance management systems<br \/>\nSupervise and mentor training officers to deliver superior performance<br \/>\nPerform any other related duties that may be assigned from time-to-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> Attractive conditions of service will be offered to successful applicants<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Degree in the Social Sciences or related area of study from a recognised tertiary institution with at least five (5) years hands-on experience in employee training and development<br \/>\nGood understanding of staff training environment<br \/>\nSound knowledge and understanding of competency matrices development<br \/>\nExcellent knowledge of and experience in training needs assessment, design, implementation and evaluation<br \/>\nProven demonstration of training budget preparation<br \/>\nStrong facilitating and training delivery skills<br \/>\nExcellent presentation, people management and communication skills<br \/>\nProficient in training report writing<br \/>\nFluent and working knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc<br \/>\nMust possess a valid driving license<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Application indicating contact telephone numbers\/current e-mail address together with detailed CV and copies of relevant academic documents should be forwarded to:<strong> recruitment@gsrgh..com<\/strong> or<\/p>\n<p>THE HUMAN RESOURCE &amp; ADMINISTRATION MANAGER<br \/>\nGOLDEN STAR (BOGOSO\/PRESTEA) LIMITED<br \/>\nP.
