Established in Lebanon since 1946, Transmed focused on the distribution of a very extensive range of Household and Personal Care Products from Procter & Gamble and Clorox, and in parallel developed the distribution of Food products starting with Mars confectionery range, and expanded it throughout the years to include McCain, Danone baby food, United Biscuits, Kellogg\u2019s, Mondelez, Bahlsen, Perfetti, Siblou, Junior croissants, Castania kernels, Walkers biscuits as well as many other brands.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Booking of GL expenses (PTT, Water, Electricity, Repairs, Professional Services, Delivery & Sales vehicles expense, Maintenance Contracts, Insurance, Training, etc\u2026) and make sure of correctness of these documents and book them to the correct accounts ( This is one of the Major area of accuracy as it reflects all the company transactions)<\/p>\n \u00b7Other Receivables\/Payables: Prepare statement of accounts for a list of accounts he is responsible of, reconcile and analyse them in order to have the correct balances reflected on the system<\/p>\n Deferred Charges: Book all invoices and prepare a recurring voucher to extract the expenses on a monthly basis for 3 years.<\/p>\n Treasury:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7Control all bank charges, interest and value dates ascertaining compliance with agreed terms and conditions.<\/p>\n Reconciliation:<\/strong><\/p>\n Perform bank reconciliations to make sure that all bank balances are correct and match with banks statements.<\/p>\n Analyze all types of cash accounts and ascertains that balances are correct and don\u2019t include unjustified pending amounts.<\/p>\n Analysis of Receivables statements<\/p>\n Others:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 Van Spot Check<\/p>\n \u00b7 Warehouse Spot Check in head office and remote locations<\/p>\n \u00b7 Rotation of duties with other members of accounting team including cashiers.<\/p>\n Education & Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n Bachelor Degree in Business or any similar degree<\/p>\n 2 -4 \u00a0years or experience<\/p>\n Behavioral Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n Attention to details<\/p>\n Analytical thinking<\/p>\n Technical Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n Computer Literate (Microsoft Office especially excel)<\/p>\n English Fluency<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Transmed is a full service distributor, managing and controlling the entire distribution value chain.
